Speaking of stupid/crazy ideas (seriously, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ?), this is quite a beast. A built-up, manual-swapped ZJ. I can’t imagine that the 4.0 engine (also swapped) is a great choice for pushing 36” tires, but I’m far from an expert.

200 miles on the tires, 1 month out from a bunch of new gear, not sure whether the owner didn’t like the results of the upgrades or was building it to sell.

Not my cup of tea, but kudos to the builder(s).

Kiltedpadre pointed out last night that Facebook places a cap on vehicles based on what it thinks a valid price range is. Insane.

So anyone who feels theirs is worth more will label it as $1234 and put the real price in the notes.

That seems absurd and stupid.

I wholeheartedly agree. They had to put a fair bit of effort into creating that feature, and I’d love to know what possessed them to think it was a good idea.

It would get a VI on it's first day around here.

I must admit I have no idea what VI might stand for.

Man datory Vehicle Inspection. The tires poking out well p ast the fenders would garner some negative attention, at least around here.

Gotcha. Theoretically fenders are a concern here in Indiana, but we don’t have any periodic inspections (safety or smog) and I’ve never heard of anyone being hassled for it.

I definitely don’t like throwing mud at people behind me, but I also can’t manage 80lb tire+wheel combos with my bad back  if I ever need to change a flat.

We don’t either, until you get pulled over and the officer decides what you’re driving is illegal/unsafe. Then you might watch your ride get towed away. Very different areas though, of course.

I watch Matt and as far as I am concerned a clean Cherokee is the Acura Integra of the off road world. GBuy.

Technically this is a Grand Cherokee, but since it has both a transmission and an engine from a Cherokee, I’ll allow it.

(Plus, honestly, even as fond as I am of both vehicles I sometimes have a hard time telling them apart at a glance , especially when built up like this.)
